Kansas City Guide

Okay, I'll be honest. This isn't exactly a "Kansas City Guide," but more of a "Here's what I did for the two days I spent in Kansas City" post.

I've been in full on wanderlust mode for a while here, which has had me thinking about my last little getaway to KC for a weekend (read about how Kansas City saved me). I realized in my last post about the trip, I hadn't even mentioned anything I did while I was there other than the conference! For now, I'll just live vicariously through my past self and reflect on this lovely little trip with my friend Rachele:)

Restaurants worth mentioning:

The Belfry - This place (pictured above) was so modern and cute and just unlike any restaurants we have here in MKE. I loved the little couch and seating area, plus any place with great decor and a statement wall mural is doing it right in my book ;) We just had a few apps and a cocktail here, but their beer list was crazy big!

The Classic Cup - Rach and I had a Sunday brunch here and the food was incredible, well-priced, & large portion sizes. Bonus points for being located in the plaza which has the best shopping and dining in the city (so I've been told…and would have to agree with)!

Overall, the people just seemed so friendly and the city felt progressive :) Two things I love to see when I go to a new place for the first time!
