I'm going to use the "better late than never" excuse for posting these pics today. They somehow got lost in the blogging shuffle and I never got around to sharing them. I've been day-dreaming of this California trip that I took last fall often these days. I'm convinced that state has the best of everything from scenery and weather to wine and fresh strawberries from a stand right off the highway, it's all pretty impeccable out there. These views are deeply ingrained in my memory and some of the prettiest sights I've ever seen! I was lucky to have a good friend who had been living out there for a few months as my tour guide. A road trip up highway 1 through Carmel and Big Sur was an absolute must. We stopped at a stand along the way, grabbed some fresh fruit, and watched the sun set on the Pacific at what I'm convinced is the most picturesque spot in America, McWay Falls. If you're still trying to plan a trip for 2016 the Pacific Northwest is where it's at people ♥
